Aquatic massage therapy


This is a passive therapeutic treatment which utilizes the low gravity in a therapeutic pool. Techniques such as range-of-motion exercises, rehabilitation exercises and massage. The person is comfortably floating on their back with the therapist supporting them throughout the entire session. The feet are supported allowing for the patient to keep their head above water level. This method of treatment often has a strong and profound physical, as well as psychological impact on the person receiving the treatment.
