INTEGRATIVE MANUAL THERAPY
Using soft touch and having the three dimensional view of the body, the therapist is able to address the imbalances in the body in a non invasive way. This results in long lasting stabilizations within the body. It also allows the body to tap into its own incredible self-healing capacity.
IMT is very passive, however, very powerful. it was discovered by Saron Weiselfish-Giammatteo, PhD, PT in the early 1980's. The technique is constantly evolving.
Some of the conditions that respond to IMT are:
· Back pain
· Neck pain
· foot/ankle weakness
· stiffness to hips or shoulders
· menstrual cramps
· bladder incontinence
· acid reflux
· digestive problems
· rotator cuff tendonitis
· patellar tendonitis
· plantar fascitis
· Headaches (tension and migraine)
· Sleep apnea
· Snoring
