STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION

Performed in a ten-session sequence designed to align and balance the body by lengthening and repositioning the fascia. It also re-educates the individual in becoming self-aware of body movement patterns creating tension and misalignment in the body. The goal is to create a balance in the body, while taking into account the gravitational pulls on our human structure.

These methods incorporate forms of deep tissue work to reorder the body so as to bring its major segments-head, shoulders, thorax, pelvis and legs - into finer vertical alignment. Various techniques loosen or release adhesions in the fascia; the flexible tissue that envelops our muscles and muscle groups. This allows for more freedom of movement and ease of articulation of all muscles.
